Education for Professionals who work with Persons with Developmental Disabilities
Eighteen years as a counsellor and fifteen years as an educator have given me my own positive perspectives on
the learning and healing processes of individuals, couples and families. As a therapist, my goal is to create
a therapeutic environment that focuses on the empowerment of the self as an individual and in relationships.
The exploration of past patterns, current relationships, family and social systems provides the insight which enables a better
understanding of how we see ourselves in the world.
After taking a year long sabbatical to spend time with my daughter and
granddaughter in Gaborone, Botswana, I have returned to British Columbia to
re-establish my private practice. My new office is situated in White Rock, BC.
